These days by Akinwale Peace

© Akinwale Peace

These days

These days when life is rare:
This days when death is ev'ry where,
These days when souls mourn;
These days when souls die the more,
These days when death wants more.

These days it does baffle me:
When death will smile at it' mean
And strike them in their pleas, it
smiles as they all cry, in it
doth he rejoice in joyful anxiety.

When the morning dew comes: it goes with a soul;
When the sun stands on the sea, it sleeps with a soul,
Oh; when will all this end? These days when death
smile and nev'r cry, these days when hot hell' breath
calls more to eternal rest, when will death itself rest?

Footprints by Akinwale Peace

© Akinwale Peace

Footprints.

I was lost, lost in the desert:
I was searching for my flower,
Then I saw the root; My cherished flower,
of dim clueless root to my calm flower;
Then I saw the stream springs on the desert.

I traced its root, it's the foot prints
I traced the root to the stream springs'
I traced my flower's root, it springs!
I traced it to the brooks, it sings!
I traced its root, it's the foot prints

Fortunately, I then saw it;
The brooks are chirping, it dances,
Fortunately, I then saw it;
The waves are streaming, it dances,
I sensed the rhythm; it dances.

I was searching for my flower;
Then I saw the root; My cherished flower.

Summer night by Akinwale Peace

Summer night.

On this chilly cold summer night;
Doth the winds beat my roof by night
and exposed me to an awe fright,
As I nev'r expect'd the sudd'n knight;
On this chilly cold summer night.

It came beating faster, birds flew
and legs ran toes touching head, few
were the stars that shine for they view
behind the clouds why it cries, pew!
The weeping drops spoiled my night's view.

On this chilly cold summer night;
Doth the drops dropped on summer night,
but the rain has been cursed on summer night
why doth it dropped on summer night?
Well, I smiled at rhythm at the summer night.

We are Africans by Afolabi Hameed

© Afolabi Hameed

"We are Africans".

We are the wisest living among the wise,
We are the dangers liv'ng among lice',
We are the biggest living with the biggest;
We are the biggest living like smallest.

We are the goodest' in the baddest:
We are the finest in the finest
And also the ugly in the finest,
We are the oldest and the newest.

Africans, we are the realest,
Africans we are the fittest,
We are the dreamer seeming like a pretender;
We are the pretender seeming like a dreamer.

Our skin is alluring,
Our eyes look seem naivety
But our scream is scary;
Our colour is soft black and shining.

We get all we want when we say we want it:
We averse what we abhor and stand against it,
We are the cognizance that uses it against our selves;
And the ignorance that stands against our selves.

We are the originals':
We are the vary signals:
We are the comfort in danger:
We are Africans!

I prithee night by Akinwale Peace

© Akinwale Peace

I prithee night.

When the sky smile and the moon weep:
When the soil moan as the blood seeps,
When the grave smile and the clay weeps;
When the atmosphere spreads sad needs,
When the sky smile and the moon weep.

The moon is crying, who'll appease?
The sun stretched itself on the sea;
The moon attacked in anger seen-
The day turned night and day, they weep
for the loss clay as the blood seeps.

Hot hell smile
and I cry:
When souls die
and death smile
Let corpse fight!

Eye for eye:
Death come nigh
Your end nigh;
I prithee night:
Let corpse fight!

Death motivation by Afolabi Hameed

© Afolabi Hameed

"Death motivation"

Where are you strong head?
Life has no renovation
Young mind flying bird
Death comes in a different motivation.

All forms of accident is it' reasonability:
The victims cries for the pain of agony,
The victims' feelings for that moment is uncertainty;
Death comes through it and man inhale his breathing.

Sleeping is an enjoyable moment of man's life:
And also working moment for the soul which rife,
When all the organ of the body roo
Death comes through it and woo the roo.

Death is an unwanted and needed clown
He still operates like he's the needed crown.

They are dead by Akinwale Peace

© Akinwale Peace

They are dead.

They that reside in the soil
and their breathe smells as mans' toil;
They that stood tall as a slant short pole
and welcome heads as they bow their whole.

They that feed on palm oil as stew
and sucked blood as food in their view.
They that feed heads as their meats
and the world bow at their feet.

They that stood tall and feared no war
They that are dead but live at war,
They that live six feet and still breath
They that are unknown but known in death.

Stop all these superstition!
I hate the real illusion!
The gods are dead, our blood has killed their lives!
The gods are dead, their tale only survives.

The gods are blind by Akinwale Peace

©Akinwale Peace

The gods are blind.

They that held the sky as it stood
on the sea, they told the sun to
shine at it's peak, the gods that stood
as poles that all bow and run to.

The gods that fed on palm oil and
they that fed on blood, the land has
been injured, the blood has swim and
the land has been bittered sweet as...

The blood castle has built a castle of
vain, who wants to be fed on the verge lane?
The blood castle has built a castle of
vain, some sang dirge, some dance in countless fain.

The gods are blind, the blood has blocked their eyes,
The gods are blind, their shrine is full of corpse,
The gods are blind, their ice 'll melt as sun shine;
The gods are blind, their death will bless our course.

The man died by Akinwale Peace

©Akinwale Peace

The man died.

He was at the verge of life and death:
He was at the point of loosing breath;
He was very close to life and death;
as the neck to the head, his fight'ng breath,
fought not to be thrown in the six depth:
But life was weak at length to his death.

It was at midnight's winter
When the sun has been slaughtered;
And the chilly cold covered
the summer, the cornered man
slept in cloudy storms of man;
Sleeping the last sleep of man.

He couldn't hold his swift breath,
As the gap seem so short breathed,
He couldn't hold his swift breath,
As the chilly hands of death
held his breath, his head needs rest
in shrouded garm'nt to six depth.

Article by Akinwale Peace: Essence of high technicalities in writing

Essence of high technicalities in writing by Akinwale Peace

     What is essence?
In short, essence is "A significant  feature of something or an idea"

When we say high, high  means "rated thought, intention, determination or purpose to achieve an idea"

Technical or technicalities can be said to mean "the state of specificity in something or ideas"

     Considering the three elucidated terms, we can all decipher that "essence of high technicalities in writing" means "the significant feature of intentions or determinations in the state of specificity in/of ideas of/in writing"
Taking a brief look at my definition of "essence of high technicalities in writing," we can see the main sole reason for writing is the idea of writing.
Without an idea, I bet you that you'll have little or no reason to write.
One thing is to have an essence of writing, another thing is to have the technicalities in writing, another thing is to have a determination in writing and it's another thing to amplify  the ideas of your writings.
     Many people might believe that you don't need to write every day, mainly because you don't have a clue to what you wanted to write but let me tell you this, the "idea" is hidden inside of you, it is when you choose a "significant feature" that the "determination" will come and the "specificity" of "ideas" will flow and thus, you'll have a good written work through all those three.

I ponder repeatedly as it astounds me that some think writing isn't a thing to take with seriousness or do with the might of their priority.
Let me tell you, "if you're a writer and you don't take writing serious, you don't have the resolution to write every day or you don't have  time to involve yourself in a pre-writing, I'm telling you now that you'll develop tastelessness in your passion for writing.
What do I mean by pre-writing?
Pre-writing to me means "a written work that has not been edited, a kind of drafted work that could need a brief revisit to make it worthwhile"

Let me tell you this, "the passion you have for writing isn't enough at all to make you a good writer but the essence of your high technicalities in writing is the Key opener to the your passion of writing."

Yes, you might have the significant feature to write (essence), You might have the state of specificity (technicalities) and you might have the idea of what you want to write but when you discard your rated thought and determination in writing, you will not be proud of your written work let alone your readers.
Because the enthusiasm for your work to worth great has been undermined by your low thought, intention and determination in writing.
Meaning that you must always have the hidden desire to rate your work from your thoughts and determinations.

Note: You don't need to speak often, let your works speak for you; when your works speak for you, it promotes you cos' you've poured all the determination and thoughtful intention of your works into it.

    It's not a must you invent an idea, you can borrow an idea but when you use the borrowed idea in your work; make it different, make it worthwhile, make it enticing and specially defined by your readers, that is when your works will speak for you; because you had a significant feature (why you borrowed it), you had a rated thought, intention or determination, (why you attractively borrowed it), because you had a specific message you wanted to pass across (reason for borrowing it), that is why it'll be different:

Those things are from your passion and purpose of writing which will give you a different work from what you borrowed and as well earn you another feather to the cap of your reasoning and high technicality(ies) in writing.
Often, writers complain about writers block because they don't want to borrow an idea, you don't borrow idea cos' you don't have a significant feature (essence), rated thought, intention and determination, (high), specificity  (technicalities) in writing.
All those things can give you another invented idea only if you could make an idea from a borrowed idea which will promote the determination in your significant feature and as well, give you a specific idea or aim in your writing.
I as a person don't believe in writers block cos' when I have no clue to what to write,I write.
When I have no theme or topic, I write,because I believe that when I'm done with 2 lines of what I wrote in my subconsciousness of the proposed write up, I'll have a clue to what I wanted to write and I'll have a theme I wanted to write on and at the end, I often choose a phrase or a synonymous word to a phrase in the write up and use it as the tittle of the write up.
This is because I have the essence of high technicalities in writing, I have the significant feature with rated thought and intention coupled with specificity of my idea in the passion and purpose of my writing.
I expect you to say that too, say I have the essence of high technicalities in writing,
Say I have the significant feature with rated thought and intention coupled with specificity of my idea in the passion and purpose of writing.
You don't need to be less-busy before you write, you don't need to think deeply about what is happening before you write, you must always write whenever you feel like and when you don't feel like because when you have no clue, you can borrow an idea, that is when a slight clue will flash your thoughts.
It is when you dare that the significance will come, the determination will come and the specific idea will flow with the passion you have and thus, twill give you a brilliant and awesome write up.
Note: You don't need to speak often, let your works speak for you; when your works speak for you, it promotes you cos' you've poured all your determination and thoughtful intention into your works.

"It is when you dare that you're there, if you don't dare, you cannot be there"

Now talking about the technicalities, there are specificities that should be identified before writing, what is the main thing you want your readers to derive from it?
What do you think readers will love in the write up?
What is the main thing that could make them want more even when there is no more?
It is when you consider those things that will make your write up meaningful.
Note: a written piece, beautifully craved but lacks specificity is as useless as a piece craved without editing.
You need to be specific, is it about war or love or pain or ... It could be anything as well as you can back them up with well crafted words.
Mind you: You can have many themes in a poem even without lengthy lines, this is because they'll be short and summarized in witty-like words,
E.g

The love I had for him seem to hate me,
As I always dream of gun sounds from him:
The night he smiled at me under the mistletoe
Was a night I could hold as he went hitherto
with his hands killing my pains of loosing his love;
but all I could hear now is gun shots from his love!
Why does my heart swim in oceans of fogs?
Do I need him to give me a comfort hug?
Play me not silly thoughts! But sweats of war
stream down from my face, is this the pow'r of love?

From that piece, we could dercipher diff' themes esp love, war and confusion, amidst all...

It is the specificity that often speak in the write up, it's not address and irrational twisting of words.

With your high technicalities in writing, you can make your works speak for you.

Help those that are already helped, you're helping yourself in the stead.

If you help others, you're helping yourself.

Helping the weak bones in writing can also promote your essence of high technicalities in writing in the sense that; you'll have flows of idea while dealing with him/her and when you have a new idea, you'll back it up with your rated thought to make it great.
A stone can sharpen a cutlass, the same stone can make the cutlass blunt.
We can help ourselves only if we want to help ourselves.

Tips to high technicalities in writing:

1. Be focused: distraction will definitely come but when you have the flow of new idea, you have to quit other thing lest the idea quits you.
When ideas quits someone, it means the inspiration for that particular idea is gone and the person will just sit and think deeply what came to his memory the other time he was busy but he' might not be able to remember properly again. This tells us that "no matter how sharp a brain could have been or can be, he'll still forgets some things."
That's why they said "a fainting ink is better than the sharpest brain."

2. Be determined: Rate yourself! How much do you rate yourself?
Do you write your works as local write ups or you have the inner mind and view of a better future from your works?
"It is when you determine the kind of worth you give to your work that the work itself will be a worth that greatly worths' much".

3. Be specific: Are you motionless?
What moves you?
There are times we you to write things when we have no muse behind it but one thing that distinct it is the fact that you drastically change the source of the literary work from a " no idea work to a work full of ideas and lessons".
A times, you might write a humorous work and fail to notice some distinctive things unless you share it, it is when you share the write up that some people will point out the faults and some will praise the action that move it not knowing you just wrote it (subconsciously).
Be specific on what you want to achieve not what moved you to write.
Mere reading the write up again, you'll have some corrections that will soothe your chosen theme and it'll as well make your work a brilliant work.

4. Do you have a weak heart or a strong heart?:
When you have a weak heart, you might drastically change some things in your writings due to unnecessary pop ups like "it'll not be appreciated" and when you change those words, you replaced it undesirable words and that spoils your target but when you have a strong heart, when the idea comes and the flow flows, you'll be strong to write it as it comes and you'll have the courage to defend it even if you "might" have to defend blindly.
Have a strong heart as you write your work, it promotes your high technicalities in writing.

5. Be proud of your work: "It is not only the title given to the lion that made him gallant, it is his roars that made him a terror in the jungle".
When you defend your work, don't show a sign of regret that you posted it, you should instead have the pride that you can stand for it even when you're wrong.
It is not that you're not trying to take to correction but when you give up cheaply, you'll not know if their corrections are right or wrong and if this happens, you'll loose the taste you've given to it before.

6. Submit: When you submit your work, it proves your ultimacy when you write, it makes you feel great cos' you could write and it could be critique, corrected and praised but when you don't submit, you wrote and hid for perhaps, special submitting, I'm telling you that you'll not notice the mistakes in it and it'll thus make you a loser while you've thought you're a winner.

Note:  "the essence of high technicalities in writing" is "the significant feature of intentions or determinations in the state of specificity in/of ideas of/in writing"

The like knows its likes by Akinwale Peace

©Akinwale Peace

The like knows its likes.

When the essence of the standing sun is
no more known by the sleeping sea: It is
when the sadness mingles with happiness
and thus procure sad fruition in earnest;
What pleasure is lie-sense when the truth sleeps
as the stars turns it back as the moon sleeps?
What pleasure has the horror and the pains
as it births no gain from passion as 't claims?
What pleasure has the dark drizzling cloud when
it couldn't rain on the good and it well
of hotness rain on the evil? The dark
stream flows in pretence of river but dark
darkness knows it dark darkness and bright lights
knows it' like; evil knows it evil 's night
and the good knows it good is day, the sun
shall soon shine but moon will rule night as sun.

Villagers by Akinwale Peace

©Akinwale Peace

Villagers.

We're of same root as the Iroko tree:
We once stood unwavering as of Haiti,
We're of same root as the Iroko tree,
We once stood as the sky stands on the sea.
Until you sold our lands all overseas,
And you told us things are your oversees'
But the fact was hidden behind the streams,
Behind the clouds, you stood and rained poisons.

We're of same root as the Iroko tree,
We're of same mother with precious calm seeds,
We're of same lineage, same gods of the streams,
We're of one clan, united of a seed.
We're villagers treated as strangers' kin,
We're villagers treated as dealers' kin,
We're villagers seen as town criers' kin,
Have we reached the Ichabod of our sins?

The power of word by Afolabi Hameed

The power of word

Sunshine spreads all over the four cardinals angles of the world;
Also the power of word spreads traverse and compete with the sun,
Mere expression haul the ord,
Then, things fall apart while some becomes one.

Glamour work in a full speed:
Base on the daily greedy need
But it circumstance await still
And propose the power of word to control the wheel.

Dreams comes true:
Love turns fool,
Breeze turns cool,
Yet, power of word doesn't fool.

Thy broken heart thy damaged soul:
Things boiling hard no one to console,
And the spoilt world remains bold
Yet power of word is the only prevalent gold.

Oh thee, there is power in thy word:
Oh faithful thee, there is power in thy word,
Tho' fate embedded with the power of word;
But still serve the power of our Lord.

My searches by Afolabi Hameed

My searches

I peeped through the window
And feel the ray of the shadow:
I looked up to the sky;
And heaven seems coming by.

I took a glare at d sea:
And I feel some peace,
I dig-dig and dig a hole;
All I see is my soul.

My courage run through the cold,
Fairness arena reality hold;
Courage lost, still await the boldness,
Feelings endowed with the Interest.

All my searches was for my talent;
Yet, eagerness made it imperfect,
Worries catches the agent
Shivers growing on the target.

Where is my talent?
